+ Starting at 9.00am, a chef-guided tour to the local colorful and crowded Hoi An Market from Dao Tien Restaurant River
View, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy place. You will have an opportunity to meet the
local sellers and learn about the foodstuff to be prepared for the cooking lesson.
+ The market tour will give you an insight not just into the scents and flavor of Vietnamese herbs and spices but also real
market culture, how to bargain and where to buy your fresh foodstuff. The market place is the core of Vietnamese society.
On the way back to the restaurant, we will take a walk along the busy river bank till An Hoi Bridge before boarding our
private boat for a transfer across the river to the Restaurant, it takes about 25mins to 30 mins on the quiet river and you
will see living activities of local fishing people. Upon arrival, you will receive a refreshing seasonal drink as a welcomed
drink from our hospitality staff.
We start our cooking lesson. The lesson runs for about 2 hours. The head chef first present a theory lesson, and then He
demonstrates course by course according to the lesson plan, during his demonstrate He will ask some check questions to
ensure that you understand what he does, of course you can ask questions at any time. You will see the finished courses
and you will have plenty of opportunity to get involved and try your hand at reproducing the flavors.

See how produce is grown, bought fresh daily at the market and then prepared into three delicious dishes.+ At 9.00 a.m. join us in the cool, quiet Dao Tien Restaurant with your choice of a traditional morning cup of Vietnamese coffee or espresso or cappuccino, or any kinds of soft drink if you prefer.
After then our car (Bicycle, Motorbike) will take you on the short drive out to Tra Que village. It’s hard to remember what year you are in as you watch local farmers carry water and tend the gardens in the same way their ancestors have done for centuries. All the vegetables and herbs are organically grown. They are picked each day to supply the Hoi An market.
After a refreshing special local herbal drink in a local house, drive back into Hoi An for a tour of the busy market. You will have an opportunity to meet the local sellers and learn about the foodstuff to be prepared for the cooking lesson.
