Option tour: Cu Chi Tunnels

07:30: We depart from Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour. We stop at a lacquer art factory for the disabled on the way. 
We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were "American Killing Heroes" (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Also, you can try to real gun shooting for extra.
Our car and tour guide will transfer back Ho Chi Minh City.
Arrive Ho Chi Minh City, the car transfer to the airport. Take a flight to Da Nang
Our driver in Da Nang will pick up you with the welcome board and transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town Overnight in Hoi An

In the morning, start the touar by cycling to Tra Que Vegetable Village. Here, you will enjoy glasses of E (seeds from mint) herbal tea, whilst listening to the history of the foundation and development of the vegetable village. After, the local farmers will take you to see several kinds of vegetables and fennel, whilst sharing the processes of planting and looking after the crops. You will then practice vegetable farming with hoeing soil, planting, watering and harvesting vegetables. You will then proceed back to the local farmer’s house and your legs will be soaked and massaged in warm basins with medicinal herbs for treatment of rheumatism and muscle pain. A perfect relaxant. Next, you will be taught how to cook specialties of the village by skilled and professional cooks. Lunch will follow and you will then enjoy the afternoon in Hoi An at your leisure.

This morning we continue to sail through the majestic landscape of Ha Long Bay stopping for a walk around the 'Amazing Cave' full of stalagmites and stalactites. Then we enjoy another buffet lunch on board as we sail back to the harbor. Drive back to Hanoi, arriving at around 5pm. Have the evening free at your leisure in Hanoi. We suggest you visit the Old Town and markets, enjoy some street food and soak up the exciting culture of the Vietnamese capital city. Overnight in Hanoi

You have the option to start the day early and participate in the daily rituals to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the tradition. 
After breakfast, you will visit the city's oldest temple, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong where you can see the impressive “tree of life” mosaic set in colored glass. You will then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. You will stop at the Pak Ou Caves which are repositories for thousands of Buddha images. You will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Muangkeo where the local rice wine is produced.
Once back to the city, you will climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset. From there, you will explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles.

After breakfast, you will visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Laos culture throughout the ages. You will then follow to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. You will also have a short visit to Wat Phonphao, which is on top of a small hill and provides a great view of the city. You then continue to the beautiful Kuangsi Waterfalls where you can swim in the turquoise pools or walk along forest paths. Return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Phabath.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel afor the Tonlé Sap. Enjoy a boat ride on the Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonlé Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We sail to a fishermen's "Floating Village", complete with a floating school and floating police station. The villages moves from place to place following water levels and current. You are then driven to the Pouk district where you will visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing of food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional dying pattern creation and looming. 

You are then free to enjoy your last afternoon in Cambodia at your own leisure.
