Hoi An is a charming little riverside town famed for its beautiful old buildings, its narrow, quiet streets and its history as a merchant trading post. Despite the high numbers of tourists Hoi An manages to retain its charm - perhaps many of them stay hidden away inside the many hotels and resorts that fill the town. Hoi An is also an ideal place to taste authentic Vietnamese street food.
Probably, the major tourist attraction in Mekong Delta is the colorful floating market that sells locally grown items. This place also offers a visual treat to the eyes by taking you inside the rustic villages, lush rice paddy fields, fruit orchards and sugar cane groves as well as bird sanctuaries. A visit to the Mekong Delta is so memorable because of the region’s diversity.
